Whatever the subject, Sioux's passion for creating dynamic imagery is reflected in her enthusiasm for collaboration and her experience of producing images professionally for over twenty years.
Sioux Nesi is proficient in all formats of analog film and digital capture with an expertise in lighting of all variations, from strobes to sun. She attributes this to her years as the first assistant to legendary photographer, Albert Watson, this experience inspiring and preparing for her own career as a professional photographer.
With the unique and adaptable ability to capture both grit and glam, Sioux is inspired by: art, culture, good humor, travel, design, music, style, her friends, her daughter Oona and Love :).

In 2016 Sioux successfully cast and photographed over 50 female tastemakers including well-known designers, actors, musicians, artists, stylists and fashion influencers living in Brooklyn, for a book published by acclaimed Abrams Books, featuring their personal "Brooklyn Style". The book was sold in the US, Germany, France, and Japan.
Sioux lives in Brooklyn with her daughter Oona, and is available for hire worldwide.
